This First Page writing contest is open to any registered participant of the Central Coast Writers' Conference XXV at Cuesta College, October 2nd and 3rd, 2009. Entries are limited to the first page in one of five categories: Novel; Short Story; Memoir/Creative Non-Fiction; Poetry (32 lines); or Children Young Adult.

SLONightWriters Meeting this Tuesday!
Dear NightWriters and friends,
Our SLONightWriters meeting will take place next Tuesday, January 13th, at 7:00 PM.
Cortney Brogno, the new Women's Press Editor, will present her vision for Women's Press and what she'll be looking for in submissions including themes for upcoming issues. Women's Press is a viable market for NightWriters who want the opportunity to write specific themes and topics.
Meeting venue: Meeting hall behind the Johnson Avenue Church of Christ (3172 Johnson Avenue) in SLO.
