Writing Contest
Tallahassee Writers Association is now accepting submissions for the 2009 Seven Hills Review Literary Contest.
Contest fees remain $10 for TWA members and $15 non-members per piece entered. Short Stories (any genre), Creative Nonfiction, and Children's Picture Books have 2,500 word limits.
A new category, Flash Fiction, has a 500-word limit.
Previously published works are ineligible for the Seven Hills contest; however simultaneous submissions (with notification) are considered.
Send three copies (without any identifying information), plus a cover letter (with author info, title, word count) and appropriate fees to TWA to apply. Each category offers $100/$75/$50 prizes, plus publication, for top three pieces per genre. Send submissions or queries to TWA Seven Hills Contest (category of entry) P.O. Contest deadline is Sept. 30, 2009.
